Self described as Glitter Punk, Dallas based Rae Rumbelow and Jay Edmonds started writing together for BOOF in October 2022. What emerged between Rae's lyrics and Jay's hard stop guitar lines can only be described as the culmination of years of queer frustration and political opinions based in real life experience. After a slew of unfortunate encounters with drummers, The Gun was welcomed into the band. He still remains a mystery.
